Why would you ever make them your heroes? IMHO, the Brion race are a bunch of physically attractive, assholes who lie, murder and steal.but feel no shame in it.

Isn't there some kind of unwritten rule for authors not to make their characters "sins" too great to overcome? There SHOULD be!!

I very much wanted to give only two stars.but the author *did* address my grievances at the very end.but it was more of a glossing over splinters.(gritting teeth) I'm glad this book was free because this story piiiiiised me off. Will Isolde give into the mouthwateringly hot and equally as ferocious alien general or will fate make the decision for her? It is no easy feat, but he is, after all, undefeated. Thrust into intrigue, war and hunted by enemies hiding behind veils, Diego must prove himself not only to his new bride, but the galaxy at large. Not only is it unthinkable to want a human, but it might just be the push his enemies need to come for him. But even he finds himself on the brink of destruction when a human woman calls to him like nothing else. Body, mind, soul - there is no one stronger than the Brion general, one of the most feared men in the universe. But she can't let him know that.ĭiego Grothan is undefeated. And despite knowing better, she wanted him too. The most powerful man in the universe wanted her.

But she didn't even get to step foot on her shuttle when everything was turned upside down. Curvy and confident, she set out on her first intergalactic mission as a scientist from Earth, studying alien species. Isolde Fenner had big dreams, but surprisingly enough, the universe was even bigger. It can and should be read as a standalone and has a guaranteed HEA ending!

This is a 100 k full scifi romance novel featuring a BBW human heroine and a growly alpha male Brion warrior general. Nothing could have prepared her for the general.
